In the inner city community of Moccasin Flats, Dillon Redsky has to survive one last summer before he can get out of the ghetto to pursue his dreams of becoming a basketball star at university. Unfortunately for Dillon, some people don’t want to see him succeed. Jonathan, a local gang banger and pimp, makes Dillon’s life a living hell. As Dillon confronts the brutal realities of living in the hood, his dreams of basketball stardom begin to slip away. With the support of his family, Dillon realizes that his culture is the one thing that will save him. Dillon must how to walk in the path of his ancestors and make them proud.

Jonathon Bearclaw, a reformed drug dealer and pimp, is reunited with his young son and girlfriend. He is working hard to turn his life around and walk the Red Road. As the pressure mounts, Jonathan remains confident that he has the community fooled. But how long will it last?

Candy, a reformed sex worker, is now running Sweetgrass Safety Services in Moccasin Flats. A sudden influx of very young girls working the streets of the Flats has her overwhelmed as she searches to no avail for the pimp responsible. When Candy finally comes to terms with the fact that everyone around her is too caught up in their own twisted webs of sex, lies and betrayal to notice what is happening within their community, she launches her own investigation - risking her life trying to find the pimp and put him behind bars.

Gritty and compelling.” Justin, a young native man, has finally found a way out of the flats - a university scholarship. While he knows a better life awaits him, he is reluctant to leave his friends and family alone in the violent neighborhood he so desperately wants to escape.
The Making of Moccasin Flats provides a behind the scenes look at how this short film was made. Including a special commentary from the executive producer, Laura J. Milliken, and interviews with the cast and crew.

It is on this new defense station, along with new group friends, that our hero uncovers a villainous plan to destroy his home planet. Now it is up to our hero and his haphazard group of friends to thwart these plans before it is too late and his planet is destroyed.
